Esra Bedir

Esra Bedir was born in Bursa/Turkey in June 1996. She completed her undergraduate education at Bursa Uludag University (BUÜ) Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2019. During her undergraduate education, she worked as an intern at Department of Molecular Genetics, Cytogenetics, Medical Genetics at both Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. In 2021, she started his master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Biotechnology. She graduated with her master's thesis titled "Isolation and Biotechnological Evaluation of Specific Lactic Acid Bacteria Strains from the Poultry Gastrointestinal System" in 2023. She started the PhD program at Yıldız Technical University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the same. She also participated in TUBITAK 1001 and TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232-A International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers as a scholarship holder. Her research areas are recombinant protein production, microbiology, biotechnology, and molecular biology and genetics.
