Senanur Dokuz was born in Istanbul/Turkey in November 1997. She completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul University (IU) Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2020. During her undergraduate education, she worked as an intern at Department of Medical Genetics at both IU Capa Faculty of Medicine and IU Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine. In 2020, she started his master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and started working as a research assistant in the same department in 2021. At the same time, she was entitled to receive TUBITAK 2210-A General Domestic Master's Scholarship. During her master's degree, she took part in many projects with her supervisor Tulin Ozbek and graduated with her master's thesis titled "Recombinant Production of Phage Receptor Binding Protein and Design of Targeted Therapeutic Nanoparticles". She started the PhD program at the same department in 2023 and was entitled to receive TUBITAK 2211-A General Domestic PhD Scholarship. In addition to the seven projects in which she is actively involved, she continues her work aimed at the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial infections by advancing in the fields of microbiology, bacteriophage/phage subunit, recombinant DNA technology, antibody/antibody fragment design, and nanoparticle synthesis.
